Proses Mengenal Diri

Dear Graduates/Alumni,

It has been about  6 months since you left UTP campus after your Convocation on 16th October 2011, and  UTP still feels your presence through your legacy which still remain  on the campus, your involvement as alumni in UTP activities and your current employers’ commendable remarks on your performance. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the roles that you have played in portraying   UTP as an esteemed higher learning institution that produces well-rounded graduates. We truly believe  that you are  genuine UTP graduate brand ambassadors to the world. One of the key roles of the brand ambassador is to ensure that UTP gets the due recognition, and you as a great asset to the employment world. After all, you are now alumni to an  Excellent   University (Tier 5) rated by Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) in Malaysia. UTP will be achieving the Research University status soon and is aiming for the Outstanding University (Tier 6)  rating.

Kindly be informed that one of the measurement tools that is applied by  MoHE to rate universities is  the graduates employment within 6 months of completing studies, and their starting pay. We understand that you have completed the tracer study  before your convocation last October and wish to thank you for that.  However, due to the time frame (MOHE’s requirement - employment  within 6 month of completing studies) the result of  those who completed their studies in May and September was not taken into consideration during the survey (on employability ).  In view of this, we would really appreciate it if you could complete the ‘employability’ part of your survey and indicating the highest pay that you have received  within this 6 months (applicable if you have changed employment). To do so,  kindly visit MoHE website at  http://graduat.mohe.gov.my link which will be open from 19th March 2012 till 14th April 2012.

Your contribution will certainly ensure our aspiration in becoming an Outstanding University (Tier 6) becomes a reality. komen aku : alhamdulillah, UTP telah memberi ruang kepada pengkayaan budaya dengan memberi sokongan kepada aktiviti seni kepada pelajar, maksud aku kat sini, UTP sangat menyokong event2 dengan tidak banyak bunyi memberi sumbangan dan support dari segi kewangan, ini yang aku sangat terharu dengan UTP, walaupun dari segi pembudayaan menuntut ilmu itu kurang, tapi aku rasa ini datang dari pelajar UTP yang terlalu manja juga, terlalu manja dengan duit RM500 dan mahu lagi dan lagi, di kebanyakan universiti lain tidak begitu sangat.

dari aspek employability, aku bukanlah orang2 yang best untuk bercakap tentang itu, kerana sampai sekarang, aku masih ignorance tentang industri oil n gas, sebab aku tak boleh bayangkan diri aku dalam ruang itu.

maaf, aku tak dapat memarketkan diri aku sebagai mechanical engineer yang berjaya dan mantap serta berkualiti wah - wah - wah.

aku masih mencari identiti diri, yang sebetulnya sudah aku mula mencari sekitar 10 tahun sudah.
